Yuba City, Sutter County
Yuba City is the headquarters of Sunsweet Growers, a cooperative whose plant here is the largest dried fruit processing facility in the world. Much of the national prune crop passes through it. Orchards of plums, peaches and walnuts surround the city, along with rice fields that flood each winter and fill with migrating ducks and geese.
